X-Ray Work: Labyrinth Installation
The project started when one day I put my personal X-Ray on the floor:
two car accidents, problem with lungs, operation to teeth, nose, knees, Achille's tendon....
I realised they were covering a quite big surface.
The idea that they could be material to create art and giving them a second life caught my mind and didn't let me go.
This thought gave me also a cathartic feeling in relation to my personal history.
I started to collect X-Ray from other people and I created the Labyrinth.
A structure composed by 33 panels. Each one measuring 200 cm x 80 cm.
Hundreds of X-Rays have been used.
The project passed the first selection at Laguna Art Prize in Venice in 2014.
